The price was cheap for the location. The room wasn’t the best in the world but it was basically superb for what we paid. The bathroom was shared, but that’s to be expected.

It was cheap, the bed was clean and comfortable. The place was a total dive, everything was broken and dirty.

The staff were friendly, but the 9pm curfew made it impossible to let kids out downstairs. The bathroom was awful, with mouldy photos in the hall, thick dust under the beds, and no tea, coffee, mugs, or sugar provided—just a kettle that required boiling water from broken taps. Pillowcases were dirty and had black hairs on them. Overall, it was absolutely terrible and way beyond a basic budget room. Avoid.

When we arrived, our booking was missing even though it had been made on 27 April and confirmed by the hotel itself, and my questions had not been answered. After contacting them, they promised to resolve the issue, but only sent an email offering €34 as compensation for a €384 booking. Swan Inn suggested a solution that was unsatisfactory: we were given different rooms than booked, the beds were used (still with hair and bodily fluids from previous occupants), there were no curtains, the rooms were extremely dirty, and the shared bathroom and toilet were filthy. The toilet door was just a window, letting everyone see us.
