“A proper home from home”

We had a lovely stay at Rushop Hall. The place is wonderfully cosy, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully warm both the heating and the hot water were spot on, which isn't always a given. The beds are genuinely comfortable (we slept brilliantly), and the towels were fresh and good quality too. The location is ideal, easy access into town, and right on the doorstep of some brilliant trails and trekking routes. Perfect if you want a walking base that doesn't leave you cut off from everything. Little touches made all the difference too, complimentary coffee in the room, a lovely little library corner to settle into, and a genuinely home-cooked breakfast that set us up for the day far better than anything you'd get at a chain. For what you pay, it's excellent value we'd have expected to spend considerably more for this standard. The real highlight, though, are the hosts. Jan and Neil could not have been kinder or more accommodating nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel properly looked after from the moment we arrived. We'd happily stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Nothing

Very quiet setting in the countryside. Nice views all round. Lovely room, comfortable bed, good size shower, lovely choice of breakfast. Plenty of parking. Nothing, would recommend

“A very comfortable stay in stunning surroundings”

The location is fabulous, surrounded by stunning views. Check in was easy and the room was incredibly comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent with several options available. The owners were friendly and helpful. No dislikes
