“Clean and functional hotel for a short stay.”
The room felt really spacious and the beds were super comfy, and everything stayed spotless. Even though the street was noisy, the double windows helped a lot. Breakfast was fresh, with plenty of options and staff constantly bringing food to the table. Everyone on the team was friendly, helpful, and polite, and the location was perfect—just a short walk from the main square, lower and upper towns, and a handful of bars and restaurants within a minute or two. On the downside, the room felt a bit soulless; the lighting was harsh and not very soft or relaxing, more functional than pleasant. There was no shower screen or curtain in the bath, so water splashed all over the floor. The towel rail broke when we used it. The hotel offered almost nothing in terms of facilities—no lounge or relaxation area. We stayed for 3 nights but the room wasn’t serviced at all during that time. The bed base was peeling apart, giving it a scruffy look even though it was clean. I felt it was a lot of money for a fairly standard/basic hotel, though I understand the price was partly for the location.
