The Hotel Prinsengracht is a beautiful historic hotel in Amsterdam, right in the city center. I could walk around easily, and when needed I booked a taxi or ride‑share without trouble. The courtyard and garden behind the hotel are gorgeous, and I recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. I have no negative comments about the hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Amsterdam on foot or by public transport. Nothing really. The only (very) small drawback was the single‑bed, which was against the wall with a kind of back‑rest (to use the bed as a sofa), making it rather narrow.

Calm, comfortable, close to the center and museums, with a hearty and varied breakfast. One person at reception was not very pleasant.

The spot was great, and the lady at the front desk in the morning was super helpful and friendly, but the guy at the desk in the late afternoon was a bit rude. The room felt dated, dumpy, and not very clean, and that same afternoon desk guy was a problem.
