“Fantastic place if only had some water and a washing area...”

The cabin is gorgeous in the forest and the cabin itself feels warm and comfortable. Yet there is no water, and the 10–12 litres the host supplies isn’t enough for washing or drinking. There’s no basin, sink, or washing area, so bad weather makes it tough. It’s a good experience, but it shouldn’t be advertised as having a bathroom! Electricity only lasted one night. The cabin and surroundings are amazing.

“Terug naar de natuur”

The location, 7 m above ground, is fantastic. In the middle of the forest, no light pollution, no noise except natural sounds—awesome! There’s a two‑person bedroom in a loft‑style space with mattresses on the floor that can fit about five people. There’s no running water and limited electricity—so you can’t charge a phone; the power is only for a few lamps in the hut. A wash bowl is there for rinsing, but no bathroom, just a toilet outside the tree‑house, on the ground, 7 m below you. That’s a bit inconvenient for nighttime trips, but you get unlimited views of the many birds around the hut. You park your car in a dip along the unpaved road and walk about 300 m over a slightly sloping forest path with many tree roots and rocks, partially on planks.

The experience at the third floor was great, with a camera in the bird feeder and an amazing view.

“en gøy sted å komme til.”

A fun place. Enjoyed the bird boxes and liked the books and games. It would have been better to have two extra chairs with backrests. The mattress on the loft was too hard.
