The family was very kind, and we enjoyed the father’s singing and guitar playing; the place was quiet, safe, and surrounded by gardens and nature, with drinking water and laundry service provided, making it a nice base for a couple of nights while staying in Mang Den, which felt like one of the safest and most welcoming spots in Vietnam, though the bathroom needs a good scrub and the house is quite dark overall.
