The style and design of the palatial building along the Arno are impressive. The room lacks a TV, which at first seemed a drawback but actually keeps the evenings quiet. The same design that is a strength sometimes clashes with functionality and comfort (e.g., the breakfast tables are uncomfortable for tall people). The staff are professional and helpful, but only if you ask them, at least in our case.

Good location, comfy room, excellent breakfast, and helpful staff. Occasionally there were problems with the taxi service back to the hotel.

The breakfast was good, and the location was fine. The bathroom had a bad smell, which made the room uncomfortable to stay in.

The décor was really pretty, and the breakfast was good. I did notice a faint, unpleasant smell that probably came from the shower in the bathroom, though it wasn't noticeable in the room.

A charming little hotel, very quiet by the Arno and in the embassy district, easy to reach the city center on foot, and the walk along the Arno is very pleasant. The room was large, with two windows overlooking rooftops, the bed was excellent, and the bathroom was spacious in black marble. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection and quality products. The staff were available, attentive, and competent. I recommend this hotel!
