The Perfect Stop - Aurora Lodge

I appreciated the self‑made huts, the owners were nice, and the furniture was good; free coffee and tea were available in the hut, and thoughtful touches like books, a power outlet near the bed and handkerchiefs were included; the terrace and outdoor chairs were nice, the warm bathroom had appealing colors; a shop was really close nearby; Lødingen is a good spot to see the polar lights in the harbour; it’s close to the street to Tromsø and the Lofoten; outside was messy; there was no power on arrival, but it was fixed immediately when I asked; the hut wasn’t preheated (maybe only this time? I don’t know); you can see the polar lights much better in the harbour, and there you can see them very well! The harbour is just a ten minutes walk away. (10.10.26)

“Disponibilità al top”

The building was under renovation, so the impact wasn’t pleasant… the staff’s kindness compensated for the initial doubts; they moved us to the most comfortable internal room. The mess caused by the renovation was a downside.

“Bien pour une nuit”

The accommodation was atypical, comfortable, and clean; it was self‑service; it had a small fridge, kettle, and coffee maker; the heating was perfect. The bathroom was outside the unit, which was fine, but the shower was poorly arranged, with little space; the toilet and sink were separate and the pipes leaked; the access to the unit was tight with suitcases, and the entrance could be more welcoming and orderly.

“Very pleasant and truly a perfect stop for our one night stay!”

The terrace (even though it was raining) and the high location of the lodge were amazing! The interior of the lodge was very cozy and the facilities were excellent!. The tight and long stairs in the slippery rain were little bit scary with all of our stuff, but managable and we were prepared in advance for those
