The Farthings Somerset, a 18th-century country house, is situated in the Somerset countryside, 8 km from Taunton and Ilminster, with easy access to the M5. This privately-owned hotel overlooks the village green and features 3 acres of private gardens. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms were just delightful, very well appointed and very comfortable. The food was also exceptional, and the whole experience exceeded expectations - enormously. Nothing - we wish we could have stayed longer

Dinner was very good and the room was very pleasant, but the breakfast service was poor even though the food itself was good when it arrived.

Food was incredible, top quality for dinner, service was amazing, breakfast matched that quality, the room was very clean with a lovely view and gardens, and the dogs were welcomed—did not expect such a high standard for the price; parking could have been better marked.

A charming small hotel with a beautiful garden; however, the room I was assigned wasn’t the one I had booked, and while it was clean it felt cold.
