“Hôtel parfait”

A fantastic hotel in a Bali‑style vibe, with a gorgeous beach full of coral and fish that makes snorkeling a breeze. The staff were very welcoming, the pool was large and pretty, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby for outdoor dining. The downside was the à la carte restaurant, which offered a limited selection and small portions.

The garden was beautiful and tranquil, and the staff were friendly, though not particularly competent when I asked for help. The houses, garden, and pool were all lovely. The beach area was poorly organized, with badly placed and unattractive beach chairs that were not well maintained, and the food selection was dull and uniform.

The old rooms had nice carvings, but the staff were unhelpful and spent a lot of time standing in the restaurant without taking orders. The food made one of our travelers sick, and they didn’t ask if my older mother needed help with her bags, just watched her walk by. The place had a dark, bad vibe, the beds were uncomfortable, and the shower had no hot water.

“I would not go back there.”

The location was right next to the beach, and the rooms were nice with a lot of carved‑wood history. Unfortunately, the staff were not attentive or helpful, and my room had no cold water so I couldn’t shower; that was later fixed but then there was no hot water. The beds were very uncomfortable, and the restaurant staff just stood around—ordering required approaching them.

“Heerlijke plek”

A wonderful, pleasant spot with super friendly staff, including trainees. The breakfast could and should be improved; the lunch and dinner restaurants are fine, but breakfast is much less good compared to previous years.
