“Helpful staff and a decent room”

I booked last minute because the hostel we’d booked let us down. It was double our usual budget, but Yerevan on a weekend is expensive. The large room had a big double bed, a good bathroom, and stylish decoration. There was a place to make drinks, which was good. The best thing was the two staff we met who were very welcoming and helpful. It was hard to find; the location on online maps shows it in the middle of a crossroads, and the entrance is actually a block behind the street address. We only found it thanks to the staff. The bed is beautifully wide, but the sheets aren’t wide enough and won’t tuck under the mattress. Our room was off the entrance foyer—the door needs soundproofing because we could hear foyer conversations in our room.

“Buena ubicación”

The location is good, central and quiet. Free parking. The room is very large. We couldn’t pay with a card. There’s no 24‑hour front desk, although the instructions we received on WhatsApp let us enter the hotel without trouble. The beds are very small and the linens are minimal.

The location is lucky. The room’s atmosphere is good – specifically, it’s minimalist, modern, and not cluttered with gypsy baroque or grandma’s furniture. It looks modern and matches the photos. I don’t know why, but finding the hotel in the evening by address is hard. We arrived at the address, but the hotel wasn’t there. It turns out you have to go through a barrier into an inner courtyard; the hotel is there. It’s close, about 40‑50 m, and during the day there probably wouldn’t be a problem. In the evening the courtyard is half‑dark. Strictly speaking, the place isn’t a hotel. Some rooms are hostel‑style rooms set up for separate accommodation. Thinking of the word “hotel” gives a wrong image. But “a separate hostel room with its own bathroom” is accurate. The staff are friendly, everything is fine. The hotel just mispositions itself.

The room is large and spacious, with a comfortable big bed. The corner room, next to the entrance, lets you hear street conversations and people’s footsteps.
