“Comfortable, beautiful and with awesome staff”
The rooms were big, beautifully decorated, surrounded by nature and Balinese‑style architecture. The staff was fantastic and always eager to help, and the place was conveniently located near restaurants.
I think this was execellent place when it was built but it degraded over years. The appartment has spatious sleeping room, big luxury bathroom and nice terrace. It was built in traditional Balinese style and I'm sure it was very luxury at that time. There's a lot of art everywhere. Breakfast is excellent and big for Indonesian terms. There is a lot of nature around and you can see monkeys, lizzards and a lot of birds. In other reviews everyone is saying how great the staff is. I can agree they are indeed always available and happy to help but we felt like they are not professional enough. There was simply too many things we had to ask about which should be just there (i.e. hot water one day, mix up for breakfasts - twice, forgotten laundry, serving guests from other houses to our "private" pool). The room itself was a top notch when built but I there is a lack of investment afterwards - it feels liike once things get broken, they stay like this. Staff is doing what they can by themselves but there seems to be lack of support from manangement into at least freshening the property (i.e. missing marbles in the pool, mold on external walls, very old furniture, 4 chairs in total but each different etc.). We were also unlucky with the location of our appartment - it was next to river and nature but unfortunately what used to be rice terraces on the other side of the river turned into playground and road so we were woken up very early every morning by the noise from there. I think though that this is not a problem for other appartments that are closer to reception

The hotel was the best we’ve stayed at in Bali. If you travel with children, you should choose one of the two suites with a terrace and a private infinity pool overlooking a wonderful forest full of animals—it felt like watching a documentary. Everything else was splendid: a huge room, professional massages, excellent breakfast with zero waste, friendly staff, cleanliness, proximity to the center (10 minutes), etc. UNFORGETTABLE.
