The staff were truly adorable, always looking after us! The location was perfect for the nestival happening every Saturday on the hostel’s beach. The beach itself was stunning! Nothing to complain about.

The bed was queen sized and the hostel had a beachfront view. All power was cut off at 8am and didn’t turn back on until nightfall, and the bathrooms weren’t the nicest.

I booked a private room because the dorms weren’t ready, which was amazing and very sweet. Nestival was also a lot of fun. The bed felt quite hard, but everything else was great.

The hostel sits right on the beachfront, between Longset Beach and Koh Touch. I was forced into a mixed dorm even though I had booked a female‑only room. The shower never had hot water, even after I told the staff it was broken, and there was no handwash. The toilet had brown stains everywhere. Outside my dorm, loud music played all night, and a group of guys shouted and roared; I asked reception to intervene, but they didn’t, so it went on all night. I made the same mistake I did and followed Google Maps, which doesn’t work properly on the island; I ended up at the back of Beyond’s. I should have gotten off at Longset pier, walked along the beach (more than half of it has a shaded cement path), which only took 10‑12 minutes, and crossed the tidal river the hostel mentions—there’s a bridge, so no problem. I wish I’d had clearer instructions; it would have made arrival so much easier. It’s definitely easier than getting off at Koh Rong and trekking through the jungle, which has uneven surfaces. I’d rather camp in the jungle than stay here again; it would have been a better experience.
