The hotel’s photos show a new or renovated building, but we were assigned to an old building that isn’t connected to the main one and sits on a separate property. The rooms were dated and didn’t live up to a 4‑star standard. The location is on Rome’s outskirts, which worked for me, but if you plan to visit the city center, consider the distance. Service at the hotel restaurant for dinner was awful and the food was average—never going back. Breakfast was also poor and fell short of a 4‑star experience.
