A lovely room on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the sea; everything was provided and it was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent, offering everything needed for a good start. Parking is located behind the building, and check‑in was hassle‑free. I would definitely return anytime.

I urgently need your help and a 50 % refund for reservation 5196583032 at VILLA OKRUG (September 14 – 18 2026). We had to leave early because of serious safety hazards and unacceptable living conditions for our family (2 adults and a small child). The microwave had exposed, poorly connected high‑voltage wires hanging loosely on the wall, secured only with tape, creating an immediate risk of electric shock or fire, especially dangerous for our child. The bathroom was so cramped that it was physically impossible to sit on the toilet properly. Noise persisted until 22:00, preventing our child from sleeping. I contacted the host for a 50 % refund due to these health and safety violations, but the host did not resolve the issue or process the refund by the requested deadline. We have already checked out to protect our child’s safety and left the property available for the host. Photographic evidence of the exposed wiring and the bathroom layout is attached. Please process a 50 % refund to my payment card as the accommodation was unsafe and did not meet basic habitability standards. Thank you for your swift assistance. Sincerely, Radek Kubát

We liked that we were allowed into the rooms very early, even though it was previously stated that check‑in was from 16:00. The rooms had a nice view of the Adriatic, just a minute away from the accommodation. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bakeries, bus stops, and water taxis are all within a few minutes on foot. The rooms are dated and the beds are poorly positioned. The floor is cracked and loose. After every shower the bathroom floods. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and there are many blood stains from dead mosquitoes. The warm‑holding containers at breakfast could use descaling and cleaning, as could the coffee and juice machines. It’s a shame that so much potential could be realised with the right staff who actually help. We endured 10 days and talked it out nicely. We didn’t want to sleep there again, even though the beds aren’t the best.

The only good thing was its proximity to the beach. The cleaning lady was the only staff member who spoke to us – she was the only friendly person. Everything else can really be forgotten. It was not clean; when you shower, half the bathroom is underwater. The bed for two people is very small. Breakfast is the same every day, and there is no greeting from the staff or the manager, who doesn’t even greet the guests.
