The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable, and it was a nice walk to town, but it cost nearly $200 a night and there wasn’t even a decent mirror in the bathroom; people usually stay because of an event, but a full‑length mirror is required and the one there was too high, so I had to stand on a chair and I’m not a short person; the gardens outside need a lot of work.

The pub was good and the publicans a nice bloke; the apartment is spacious and close to the town centre, but the bathroom shower leaks onto the floor, the place needs a refurb and a thorough clean—especially the kitchen area—there was no frypan or tea towels, no reserved parking outside the door so anyone can park there, and the outdoor area isn’t maintained and is basically unusable.

The apartment is spacious, well equipped, and close to everything. The pub area had friendly staff and a good restaurant, and the bed was the best. For some reason the plug under the kitchen sink wouldn’t seal, so we couldn’t wash dishes, and there was no dishcloth or tea towel. It didn’t bother us, but it could annoy others.

The property is nice and cozy, good value for the price. The bed was a bit small for two people, but that’s fine. It’ll be great once the outside is finished. We weren’t expecting to hear the live music from the pub until 11:15 pm, which definitely made sleeping difficult.
