El personal molt amable,vaig demanar canvi d habitació pq el dormitori de noies tenia només ventilador i feia molta calor.El canvi va ser molt millor pq l aire ere necessari. Hi ha altres llocs més cèntrics gairebé pel mateix preu. Sé que és l únic hostel a la ciutat però tampoc hi havia ningú per fer vida de hostel. A les fotos es veu millor del que es

“The best (and only) hostel in Paramaribo!”

This is the only hostel in Paramaribo. It is basic but does the job. My bed was comfortable, the air con worked and the shower was hot. There is a lounge and dining area downstairs, and bedrooms are on the next two levels. There is a communal fridge, microwave and one stove top element. The WiFi works well. The breakfast is simple but good (toast, a boiled egg, and a triangle cheese with tea or coffee). The area is fairly safe although I wouldn't be going out after dark. There is a ATM (Mastercard only) around the corner by the cathedral. There should be a free communal water refill station to meet most backpackers expectations of reducing plastic (we won't drink tap water even if local stomachs can handle it). My water bottle was stolen from the fridge so the current system does not work. The hostel could be more social. Evening activities or organising people for the free walking tour (which is excellent!) are just a couple of ideas to get people to interact more

Muy buen servicio al huésped. Ubicación excelente apenas a 2 calles de la catedral y puntos de interés. Zonas comunes muy agradables. Colchón y almohada no eran cómodos

The staff are really nice and welcoming. I was the only person in the female dorm for all three nights, so I had the whole room to myself. The location is great, and the Wi-Fi is good. Good common space with fans on the main level. There’s a lot of potential for this hostel! The female dorm room faces west, so it gets extremely hot in the afternoon when the sun hits the room. There are blinds on all the windows except one, so I used one of the top sheets to make a temporary curtain for the uncovered window. At night, it was comfortable enough to sleep with the windows open and the fans running. Bring ear plugs the street is noisy. There were also a few occasions when there was no water on the top floor. However, whenever I mentioned it to the staff, they fixed the issue. Suggestions: Add a nice seating/chill-out area in the backyard and put curtains or blinds on all the dorm windows
