Rose And Crown Hotel

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the drinks facilities were amazing, and I loved the bathroom products; the room itself was very comfortable, yet the shower leaks and the paintwork in the bathroom are a little tired—overall very little wrong.

“Comfortable stay in a friendly small hotel.”

The staff were welcoming and friendly, even carrying my bag up the stairs because there’s no lift; the room was lovely with excellent quality furnishings, toiletries, etc., but the duvet was far too thick for London temperatures—I live in Cumbria and don’t have a duvet that thick, so they should change those for warmer times of the year.

Everything was great: the location, staff, service, quality of food, and the beds—super big and comfortable—nothing was lacking.

“Wonderful”

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and well‑organized; the Full English Breakfast was the best we’ve ever had—nothing short of outstanding—and the pub facilities and garden downstairs encouraged interaction with locals and other travellers; I can’t think of anything negative.
