Cella Grande

The location is gorgeous, tucked between our own vines with a view of the lake. The history is fascinating; monks made wine there long ago and still do. Breakfast was excellent; you can pre‑order and it’s ready for you in the morning. We enjoyed the wine tasting and bought a few cases to take home and enjoy later.

A beautiful spot with lovely rooms that feel alive. A peaceful haven. The welcome was friendly and the restaurant offers a view of Lake Viverone. Fresh, well‑cooked dishes. We had lunch there and had a wonderful time.

The accommodation is very nice with a great view of the lake and vineyards. However, parties are frequent in the grounds, sometimes loud until the morning, and access to the wellness area is limited to 1.5 hours a day.

An absolute gem! If you’re fed up with generic hotel rooms, this place will capture your heart. It’s beautifully unique, full of personality, and the staff have built something truly special. Their hospitality is unmatched; they went above and beyond to make us feel like friends, not just guests. 10/10, I’d stay again.

“Was ok.”

The location offers a beautiful view of Lake Viverone, but the food was disappointing. It was surprising that such a nice hotel had below‑average cuisine: the gnocchi were overly spicy, the risotto bland, and the dessert we ordered was a total let‑down. Breakfast was very limited and we had to pick from a small selection upon arrival.
