“Beautiful view and great staff”

The view was outstanding, the bathrooms were excellent, and breakfast offered a wide variety while staying fresh; the location was close to the city center yet also near the highway, giving the property a unique vibe that we enjoyed, and the owner was very attentive; street parking was free below the building. The room felt a bit cramped, barely enough space for a small suitcase on the floor.

Staying in a local house, the room was clean with good bedding, great value for money, free parking nearby, and the welcome was warm. The pool wasn’t entirely clean, breakfast was served too late for me to enjoy it, and there was some noise from the main road.

If you want peace and quiet and are willing to walk up the hills to get to the center, this is a wonderful spot—simple, charming, and nice! Some rooms have sea views. There’s a shared kitchen with a fridge. I really enjoyed it and it fit me perfectly! The pool wasn’t completely fresh, and breakfast was served too late for me to take advantage of it.

“Séjour calme et agréable à Funchal”

The hotel was very quiet in the north of Funchal, surrounded by a beautiful garden; the room was small but comfortable with a lovely view, the pool was nice, and the shared kitchen was handy. Our host was friendly and helpful, and the homemade breakfast was delicious. We recommend this place for those who don’t want to drive in central Funchal (near the Botanical Garden). Note that there is public parking on the corner of the street, but none on the premises. S.O.

The staff and the view were great, and you could even have dinner on site; breakfast was fine. It’s a bit far from the center.
