The spot is right in the heart of the city, and every landmark is just a bike ride away thanks to the free bicycles provided. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially the receptionist who speaks perfect German, and the dinner was superbly presented. A few minor renovations were happening, probably because it was off‑season.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at La Montagne Resort, set in a beautiful, quiet area with wonderful staff. The pool was lovely, quiet, and private, and the blue lights at night made it even more stunning. The lakeside tables were amazing, though the chairs could use cushions, and the gardens were gorgeous. The main lodge was unbearably hot at all times of day, so we ate outside, which made a big difference.

The photos don’t match reality; there’s construction on the property, the gym is basically unusable, and the spa is neglected. Staff are scarce, and those present are friendly but speak little English. The overall vibe feels deserted, and the price is too high for what’s offered.

I love the view, the quietness, the convenient location, cycling to Thung Nắng, and Bích Động is stunning.
