“Lovely home stay in Florence central”

The location is perfect! Buses tend to be delayed when it drizzles, so I’m glad there are so many accessible alternatives to any destination, including the airport and train station. The place is spotless with excellent space‑saving interiors and efficient fixtures. I actually want to buy the same window locks for my home, haha. There’s a shared kitchen for interaction, and I had a great time chatting there with French backpackers staying in the other room. The place takes a long flight up, so it’s not elderly or knee friendly. But carrying luggage isn’t a problem since Riccardo & Tina can help. Shared bathroom means you have to keep notice if there are other users, but it’s definitely very clean and well maintained with free soap and shampoo.

Tina was a very friendly host who sent me great tips for Florence on her phone and even made me a fantastic café. The tiny balcony was cozy and the room was quiet, though you could hear your roommates in the bathroom. The mattress was unfortunately too soft for my taste.

“Esperienza pessima.”

The experience was terrible. For three days I couldn’t shower because the hot water didn’t work, an unacceptable service failure. The room was tiny and the TV wasn’t even plugged in. The layout was absurd: the bed was against the wardrobe and every time I had to move it to open the door. On top of that, the mattress was so soft and unstable that it slid off the frame and almost made me fall. To make matters worse, the listing didn’t clearly state that the property is on the third floor without an elevator.

I liked the view of the rooftops and the location. The only downside was the stairs to climb.

The location was good, but check‑in was at 18:00, the room shared a floor with other guests, there was no elevator, and it was very expensive.
