The staff were very friendly, and the free soft ice and snacks, juice, coffee, and tea were great; the location, free parking, and easy access along the river to the city were all very convenient.

Booking was easy, yet the room was dirty, the TV didn’t work, towels were unclean, and the shampoo, conditioner, and shower weren’t refilled; the room was advertised for up to four people while I booked for one, giving the impression that the guests weren’t managed properly; a lamp in the room didn’t work, there was a toilet paper roll stuck in the ceiling of the bathroom, the breakfast was below standard, and the room still smelled of fresh paint that hadn’t dried, although the staff were somewhat friendly.

I liked the spacious room and bathroom and the breakfast was good, but the rooms were very cold and the sofa bed was the worst I’ve ever slept on.

The staff and location were good; the rooms were fine—slightly worn but okay. It was nice to have coffee and cake on arrival. The breakfast had become a sad, basic affair; it used to be fantastic, but now it’s been cut down significantly. We were unlucky to stay right above a swimming school/folk school on a field trip. They ran around and made noise in the hallways and rooms all evening. The staff handled it well and managed to stop the worst of the noise.

Free coffee, fruit, and ice cream were nice, but the room smelled of drain and strong cleaning chemicals, which the staff seemed aware of when they gave us the room.
