“Nice hotel with a spectacular view”

Service was excellent, especially housekeeping. When I asked for an extra towel, they brought a toothbrush, small towels, and slippers. The toilet door is heavy and the knob is too small to open. It would be better to place a rubbish bin right beside the pantry (coffee and drinks area). The breakfast buffet also missed my favorite dim sum siu mai. Too bad.

The view is overwhelming, and the shopping center is right next door. The ventilation and cooling system have problems; the stale smell is persistent and the air conditioning doesn’t work well. I switched to room 3, but it was almost the same. The staff training level falls short of Conrad World Standard, and the breakfast is just average for the price.

“Exceptional stay – thoughtful details made the difference”

We were blown away by Conrad Xiamen – the location and views were top‑class, and the service was consistently meticulous. Check‑in went smoothly, the room was spotless, and the little extras – a cake, quality toiletries, mouth rinse, dental kit, and bath products – felt truly personal. Breakfast had good coffee, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout. The spa was a treat; we even booked a second session, and the therapists were professional and skillful, delivering a consistently relaxing experience. Dinner at 鹭城轩 (Lucheng) was a highlight; although pricey, the food, presentation, and attentive service made it worth every cent. Conrad Xiamen nailed the details, making our stay genuinely worth the money – we’d happily come back.
