The customer service was professional and friendly, yet the room had a strong damp smell. We stayed only two nights; the sheets were clean but the pillows had a terrible odor. A cockroach appeared in the bathroom, and the sofa looked slightly stained from years of use.

Right when I walked in, a very friendly staff member at the desk welcomed me. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. I suspect the high price I paid was due to UNCW’s move‑in weekend, but it felt steep for this hotel. The rooms face the parking lot, there’s no continental breakfast, and there are no USB plugs anywhere.
