The spot is great, but the air‑conditioning was super noisy and the lights in the room kept flickering or burning out.

The location was convenient, close to Copacabana beach, but in my experience that does not make up for the hotel’s conditions and the price charged. A positive note: Guilherme and Sr. Antônio at reception were attentive and helpful during our stay. Initially we were sent to room 302, which had leaks, peeling paint, a grimy appearance; the bedside lamps were broken, dirty, and moldy; the mini‑fridge was rusty; the bathroom sink was grimy with mold signs. The overall state of the room showed clear lack of maintenance and cleaning. After we complained, we were moved to room 702, which was about 60 % better: it had no peeling walls, visible leaks, or wall mold. Still, it fell far short of the value promised. The caramel‑colored blankets on the bed were old, grimy, and both had large holes apparently from cigarette use. The bath towels were also very old and extremely thin from overuse. The TV only worked on one channel, Record; when we asked, we were told rain had damaged the antenna. There was no trash bin in the room, only in the bathroom. The shower leaked, dripping water directly. Another issue was the room’s cleaning and tidying. We left around 8:30 am and returned at 13:00, only to find the room still unmade. We complained at reception and were told it would be ready before 16:00. We left again and came back at 16:40: the room was still exactly as before. After a second complaint, reception said the maid was already leaving but would arrange a cleaning. In short, unless the guest complains and insists, the room simply isn’t cleaned. The common areas are lacking: the elevator lobbies are extremely dark, and the supposedly pool bar shown in photos was actually a dirty, abandoned space. The hotel and common area photos do not reflect the reality; it’s deceptive.

“Ótimo a localização, mais somente a localização!”

Only the location was good. The room booked through Booking had an old air conditioner that made a lot of noise, like a helicopter in your ears; anyone staying there will notice.

The elevators were broken, so we had to go up and down several times just to reach the front desk.
