“Amazing place to experience wildlife away from the crowds”
Camp Kuzuma offers a unique luxury experience within 1 hour of Kasane and 3 hours from Vic Falls. The Camp sits inside a large forest reserve that you basically have to yourself. Animals roam freely across the nearby Zimbabwe border and the package includes morning and afternoon safari drives around the reserve where we saw elephants, giraffe, zebra, baboons, hyenas, jackals and many varieties of birds. We didn’t see any big cats but their footprints were there. The tented rooms are very comfortable, the staff friendly and accommodating, and all food and drink is included. The highlight was sitting on the deck watching more than 60 elephants bathe in the watering hole in front of the Camp. The Camp also organizes a private Chobe river boat cruise (on the way to or from the Camp if staying 2 or more nights) which was amazing. Transfers from Kasane and Vic Falls are relatively expensive, so factor that into your budget.
