“A little disappointed”
The spot was close to Walking Street. After an air‑con problem in our first room, we were moved to a nice, comfortable room. The building was under renovation. When we arrived, the front beach looked beautiful and green, but on day two black mud flowed into the ocean, ruining the bay. Koh Lipe overall needs a serious clean‑up; trash was everywhere.
The bed was comfy, the setting pretty, room roomy, staff super friendly, beach close by. TV lets you hook up to usual streaming services, handy. AC worked fine, though we had to hunt for new remote batteries ourselves. Taxi service before and after, they pick you up from the beach – great! Quiet because it's low season. Breakfast had a nice view. The pool smelled like mold. The spa took three hours to fill, and we had to drain it each time during the day because it didn’t heat up and cooled quickly. At breakfast, you can’t grab everything like the photos show; you must pick either a sweet or savory menu, and it’s limited. There were blood stains on the sheet. For the price, we were disappointed – it’s pretty pricey. A bit let down because it was an anniversary gift; I asked for a small surprise in the room, but nothing happened.
“Agradable. Repetiría en habitación cerca de la playa.”
It’s located in a quiet area at the end of the beach, but it takes 10 minutes to reach the town centre (Woking Street). The hotel stretches a long way; rooms are 700 m from the beach and it’s hard to get to them. The pool wasn’t working and was green. In the bar‑restaurant, the staff seem to be putting in minimal effort, they’re slow and unenthusiastic overall.
The beachfront facility was amazing, but renovations were ongoing.
“Mooie plek”
Nice spot, great pool, and good by the sea. The beach wasn’t cleaned, and because it was low season, breakfast options were limited. Still, the food was good.
