The location is magnificent, the building’s architecture and décor are very original, the tropical garden is pleasant for walks, the pool is beautiful, and the jacuzzi offers a sky view – all perfect with welcoming staff. The breakfast, however, was overpriced compared to cheaper hotels: you pick a menu and the rest is extra; if you choose granola you get yogurt and nothing else – we paid 10 dollars for a small fruit plate. We tried the restaurant in the evening; the setting was very pleasant and full of ideas, but the food was not flavorful.

It’s a lovely boutique hotel which feels far away from the City and is yet only a 30 minute drive from San Jose airport. It’s a lovely setting, beautifully elevated. It would not be suitable for those who struggle to negotiate uneven surfaces

The place was quiet and comfy, each room had its own character. It’s close to SJO airport, making it a great spot for a coffee‑lover’s birthday. Everyone on the team was super friendly and helpful, so I’d suggest adding this to your Costa Rica itinerary.
