The staff were very pleasant, the room spacious, the daily menu tasty, and breakfast hearty and varied; the location was good and the hotel parking plenty of space. The hotel’s exterior was very beautiful. However, the room was very cold because the building was poorly insulated and there was no heating yet; we were offered blankets for the night but still felt cold otherwise. There weren’t enough storage pieces for clothes. In the bathroom there was a strong mildew smell and mold along the shower; the hair dryer was inconvenient, hanging on the wall with a too‑short cord. The dining room was also cold and the menu didn’t change much day to day (a daily menu with sometimes similar dishes to the previous day and identical fixed menus each day) with too few vegetarian options (see the photo below with a vegetarian main dish). Scrambled eggs were overcooked. The game room had two foosballs, a billiards table, and a table tennis table, but everything was very worn, some parts broken and dangerous (one foosball bar was split in two, sharp, two billiard balls were missing). The spa was fairly pleasant but the hotel didn’t provide towels, slippers, or robes, which is disappointing for a 4‑star‑plus hotel. Only four loungers were inside; there was a relaxation room with other loungers a few rooms over, but the atmosphere was not very pleasant.
