The staff and manager were attentive, but the hotel has only recently changed ownership and the renovations have encountered a few hiccups; overall it has great potential, though some facilities are currently lacking.

A charming old pub with lovely historic touches, and the rooms are simple yet clean and comfy.

I paid in advance before arriving and was asked to pay again, as if this is a common occurrence; I now have to try to get my money back.

I liked the location, the IGA and laundromat were within walking distance, and the staff were helpful, but the TV in the bedroom and the communal lounge didn't work, the pillows were below average, and the mattress felt hard.
