The comfort and cleanliness were great, but I liked everything.

The location was ideal, the hotel was stunning and the themed accommodation made us feel like we were in the past, though the cleanliness left a little to be desired.

The hotel’s location is spot‑on, just a few meters from Tiradentes Square, and the building itself is stunning with a cozy colonial‑style décor that’s immaculate. My room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the view was breathtaking. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Nothing to complain about—everything was perfect.

The pousada is beautiful and well‑maintained. The suite is spacious, airy, well‑lit, and very pleasant—nothing could have made me expect more from a room in a historic building. The amenities were satisfactory, and the floor‑level coat rack was very convenient. I also liked the updated electrical fixtures, the distribution of routers throughout the hotel, and the staff’s service. The breakfast had good variety, and I enjoyed ordering freshly‑made scrambled eggs. I also saw warm breads and cakes being offered. Still, the displayed fruit didn’t seem very fresh, and some breads were dry; a grill or pan to heat them would help. The coffee could be better, especially in Minas Gerais and considering the room rate. I also noticed that tables could be cleaned more often after guests leave. In the suite, the shower had almost no water pressure; the heated towel rack and one of the lamps didn’t work, even though they were plugged in.
