Katti House sits in Florence’s historic center, a 5‑minute walk from Santa Maria Novella and 450 m from the Cathedral. Its air‑conditioned rooms feature free WiFi, a TV, refrigerator, and private bathroom with hairdryer. Guests enjoy breakfast at a nearby café, a bar, and on‑site restaurant. The property is a 10‑minute stroll to Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi.

The location is unbeatable. The reception staff were super pleasant, and the young man helped lift the child’s stroller to the second floor, very kind. There is no elevator, which we didn’t know, so pushing a baby stroller up is not very practical and the building feels a bit old. The bed mattress isn’t very comfortable, and because it’s so central on a street full of restaurants, the noise goes on until late. Breakfast is at a nearby café and consists of coffee and a croissant (the artisan croissant is really good, though).

Close to the train station… the room matched the description. The little restaurant below offered a discount to eat there. Lots of different keys were needed to access the building, and the hallway was a bit dark.

The location was excellent, and the air conditioning worked well. The mattress was old, hard, and uncomfortable. Be prepared for stairs since there’s no elevator. A few simple upgrades would really improve this place.

The location is perfect, right in the pedestrian zone and close to all Florence attractions. Check‑in and check‑out were easy, and the hosts were great. Everything was fine.
