The staff were polite, but the smell in the basement where the rooms are located was unpleasant and it was impossible to stay there. The keys led to a room that turned out not to be ours.

The location was liked, the staff were very friendly, the room on the –1 floor was clean, the kettle, tea, and sugar were provided, the towels were old but spotless, and the bed was ironed. What wasn’t liked: 1) a strong mold smell that lingered on clothes for a day; 2) the single bed was uncomfortable, the springs seemed to bite into the ribs; 3) an unclear window that left the street noise and wind in the room; 4) the air‑conditioner was very loud, almost as if something was stuck inside. Overall, it could be a good one‑night stay.

The hotel has a very interesting, authentic interior in an old stone building. The breakfasts are tasty and affordable, and the staff are pleasant and will help at any hour. Getting to any part of the city is convenient. However, the basement rooms are not very tidy, clearly lacking a thorough cleaning. The basement smells stale, though you get used to it over time. Noise travels from all rooms (even the loud toilet flush), which is not a plus, especially since the room has no windows and is very dark with little lighting.

The vestibule is very beautiful. I had a nice small room in the basement; it was cozy and felt like a bunker.

The staff are very friendly. The girls answer all questions, help, and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast can be ordered from a selection. The whole hotel is themed. Walking to the center takes about 30 minutes. The room was dirty, the TV didn’t work. Basement rooms are damp and humid. Towels and bed linen are very old. If you consider the hotel only as a place to sleep, it’s the perfect choice.
