The property is stunning with fantastic views of Ago Bay, and the dinner experience was outstanding—one of the most memorable meals we’ve had. The bath facilities were also excellent.

It’s basically a Michelin‑level restaurant masquerading as a hotel, so every meal was a revelation. The staff were on top of their game, showing dedication and attention to detail unlike any other place we’ve been. The only drawback is that walking around the hotel’s surroundings is limited; for sightseeing you’ll need a taxi, but it’s worth it. I also found the in‑room shower lacking—a larger shower area without a bath would have been preferable, but that’s just a personal preference.

The hotel has only eight rooms and sits close to the sea. The view from our room was breathtaking, and the onsen water inside was silky smooth. We could also book the outdoor onsen for private use daily. Most importantly, the dinner and breakfast were top quality, cooked by a talented chef with fresh local produce. We ate in different private dining rooms each night over two days, and the Chandelier Dining Room was absolutely beautiful. All staff were extremely enthusiastic and helpful. There was nothing we didn’t like about this hotel; we’ll definitely return!

The staff’s meticulous care and service far exceeded any other hotel I’ve stayed in. In a space where privacy was fully preserved, the meals made with local luxury ingredients were not only delicious but also visually stunning and atmospheric. I never met any other guests staying in a similarly private setting.
