Mr Enzo is a perfect host, and with his little dog Baffo it feels like being in family; the view is spectacular, the rooms are spacious and well‑maintained, the historic village (millennial!) is absolutely authentic and wonderful.

Enzo opened his family home to us, cooked dinner and breakfast, met new travellers, and we had a nice dinner together.

Enzo welcomed us with bread and olive oil, pecorino, prosciutto and wine; the location is good, the place is quiet, and Baffino is a plus. The breakfast could use improvement.

It met all expectations: the welcome, the location, the quiet in the room and outside. The dinner (extra on request) was abundant, varied, and of excellent quality, shared with the owners and other guests. There is a bit of general clutter, but that’s typical of any respected farmhouse. It’s not a place for city slickers with a nose for the smell; for that you need the city. In Borgo Carpineto you breathe real country air. The owners run everything themselves brilliantly. Recommended for escaping everyday chaos.
