Frost and Fire Hotel

The room was cozy with a nice terrace and a stunning view of the river and landscape; it was clean, had a coffee machine and a water cooker, and the breakfast covered everything I needed; the view of the hot tubs over the river was great, though it was too cold for me in October, but others might like it; the sauna was too cold and not very comfortable, but the chill‑out room was cozy; a private event at the restaurant closed it, which was fine, but guests should be informed in advance.

The view was truly incredible, the staff were very friendly, and the small “Häuschen” where we stayed were warm and clean.

“Excellent Location and Professional Staff”

We had an unforgettable dinner, and the hotel’s location is unbelievable—staff always make you feel at home. This is our home away from home in Iceland; we’ve been here six times and keep coming back for good reason. Thanks!

The staff were very friendly, but the shower in the room was broken, the drain was clogged, and the water pressure was low. The hotpot wasn’t really hot; it was only warm enough at best.
