Hotel Rural Palacio de Prelo

The hotel is beautiful and cozy, the hosts are very friendly, and the breakfasts and dinners are excellent—highly recommended, we’ll return.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Palacio; the building is stunning in a peaceful setting with lovely garden and countryside views, and Antonio and Alicia were outstanding hosts.

“Lovely comfortable stay in an off the beaten path part of Asturias.”

I chose this place hoping for clear night skies to spot the stars, but the clouds ruined that. The only other downside was the lack of nearby lunch spots, so you need to bring your own food for hikes. The hosts, Antonio and the others, are warm and full of useful tips for outings from Prelo, and they cook a fantastic dinner (and breakfast!). It feels almost like staying with family. One of our meals was outside and it was magical. The room was very comfortable, with a lovely view framed by green leaves that shielded the sun.

A charming rural hotel housed in a historic manor, run by equally charming owners, Antonio and Alicia, who turn your stay into a real experience. Restful sleep and tranquility are guaranteed in an idyllic setting. The breakfasts are very good, as are the optional dinners.
