The staff, location, cleanliness, and cost‑benefit for SM were great, with tasty food and breakfast. As we’ve seen in other reviews, the room space is limited but absolutely sufficient; two medium suitcases don’t fit, but we’re minimalists and only bring what we need, so we had no issues. We value good cost‑benefit and essential amenities over personal extravagances.

The lodge included breakfast in the rate, which was a nice touch. They offered us an upgrade to a room with a hot tub, but we couldn't use it because we thought a giant frog had taken up residence in it! 😂 We ended up asking for a room change because of that.

The breakfast was great, with many freshly prepared options by a friendly chef. The bathroom shower leaked a bit, soaking the floor. The hot tub was not activated; I didn’t ask for it because we spent little time in the pool, but it was one of the highlights.
