Located in Córdoba’s historic centre, Pension El Portillo occupies a 19th‑century building just 500 m from the Mezquita‑Cathedral. Guests enjoy bright rooms with traditional Andalusian décor, private bathrooms, balconies and most with air‑conditioning. A classic patio, free Wi‑Fi, and an on‑site tour desk provide convenience, while cafés, restaurants, the Córdoba Synagogue and Alcázar lie within a short walk.

Central, very clean, friendly staff, comfortable and very quiet. No complaints.

The place is well‑situated and the room is small but functional; it’s a quiet spot. However, construction next door and the machinery noise woke us up early. Getting there by private car is difficult because there’s no parking in the area; a paid parking lot is a few minutes away and free parking is across the bridge, a spot that attracts “gorrillas”.

Sehr günstig und trotzdem alles da, was man braucht. Sehr nettes Personal, unkompliziert, Zimmer einfach aber sauber. Große Empfehlung!. Man teilt den Lichthof mit anderen hotelbewohnern. Wenn diese spät nachts duschen und laut sind, hört man das schon. Ansonsten ist es angenehm ruhig, da hier rundherum keine Autos fahren können
