“No aconsejo”

The location is fine, but I don’t recommend it to anyone. Service was zero, starting with reception. When you arrive they don’t tell you to leave the key to exit. Then the reception woman calls you when you go out to walk to ask you to leave the keys, so there’s no information upon entry. Later you go up and in the stairs there are dirty towels in bags and garbage bags. When I’m leaving, the woman shouts at me to hand over the keys. I told her they’re in the room, she made me go up and look for someone upstairs to open the door. To my surprise there was no one. I went down the stairs until I found someone. They opened it and I handed over the keys, and she still says if I don’t hand them over I’ll be charged €30. I don’t advise anyone, it doesn’t seem like a hotel for us who have experience with hotels. Don’t go to this place.

“Pire rapport qualité prix de la capitale. Et j’ai fait pas mal d’hôtels. Vous pouvez vérifier.”

The staff were friendly, but the room had patched outlets wrapped in duct tape, a bedside table with two and a half legs, a wall lamp that wasn’t actually mounted, stained walls, a shower door that wouldn’t close, and a trash can lid that behaved the same way. It would have been faster to just list the equipment that was in good condition.

The constant odor coming from the toilet was very unpleasant.

“It suited us very well for a short stay.”

The location is great, access is easy, and the bed is comfortable. I would have liked a kettle in the bedroom to make tea; missing that morning cuppa was disappointing. The toilet is very cramped—though we’re not big people, it was a squeeze to get in.
