The place was clean, the beds very comfortable, and it had old Hispanic charm with a working jacuzzi tub; the folded towels and washcloths were cute. However, many items were worn out, the Wi‑Fi didn’t work, there was no beverage vending machine, the ice machine was either broken or I always timed it when it was out of ice, and the front desk hours were limited.

The Mexican architecture, mostly single‑floor, sets Cas del Sol apart from typical motels. The room and bathroom furniture felt cheap.

The staff were attentive, but some rooms were occupied by full‑time residents, leaving a lot of clutter in the hallways and cars being worked on in the parking lot. The AC was very loud, a cockroach ran across the floor, the bathroom was dated, and the sheets were old and stained.

The rooms feel cramped, especially for a $378 rate where you’d expect more space and better upkeep. Ants were everywhere, the bathtub was filthy, and the bed on wheels was downright uncomfortable. I won’t return.
