“Posizione ottima per uno scalo”
I spent a night before my flight at this hotel and it was great; the staff were very kind, the room was clean, and the message communication was super efficient. The included airport transfer was very convenient, making the stay simple and pleasant—perfect for a layover. The room also had a minibar and a menu available, which was really handy for having everything needed during the stay.
The price was good and the staff were friendly, but the TV in the room had no sound and I had to switch it off at the wall at night. It wasn’t a huge deal though.
“Quality deteriorating”
The location was great for my work, English was no issue, and the staff were generally friendly, responsive, and helpful. However, I found bed bugs again in the same room I had stayed in before, so I’m not sure if all rooms have the same issue. The ceiling was mouldy and the rooms were starting to look worn out. A long‑standing problem that hasn’t been fixed for the past two years is that the hot water runs out very fast; you have to turn it off while soaping or you’ll end up with cold water. The air‑conditioner stopped working around 2 am during my last stay and I couldn’t get it to work; I reported it but there was no one at reception at that time. I tried it again in the morning and it still didn’t work. I told them at checkout when I handed in my keys (just for their info). They checked and said the air‑conditioner was working (?). It’s not as good value now as it was two years ago unless they improve hygiene (bed bugs, ceiling mould) and the hot water system.
