Located in Sligo's city center, The Address Sligo is adjacent to O'Connell Street, offering shopping, riverside dining, and bars. This hotel features free WiFi, daily newspapers, and limited private parking (€12 per night, first-come, first-served). The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were roomy, and the bar and restaurant were very welcoming. However, a strange smell lingered at times throughout the building. We were away from 9-5 and when we came back the housekeeping staff had barely reached our room. Parking was scarce and pricey, and the reception staff weren’t very friendly.

The staff were pleasant, the place was spotless, warm, and VERY Central. But they charged 12Euro per car – a total of 24Euro for one night – which was really poor form, especially since the parking is attached to the back of the hotel. I heard all guests returning around 1.30am onwards because the room was on the ground floor, and it was echoey.

I was expecting a deluxe double, but instead I got two twin beds. The pillow cases were dirty.

I’ve stayed here twice and would definitely recommend it if you want a central spot to stay. The rooms are quite small, but they’re clean and comfortable.
