Longbridge House

“Comfortable and cozy, with sweet cats.”

The room was spotless and organized, and even though there were many other guests in the building, it stayed very quiet. I felt very comfortable and liked the mini fridge that let me keep milk for my tea. All the cats were sweet and endearing, and the breakfast was the best I’ve had.

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted and escorted to my room. I was given a clear overview of the room, the facilities, and the whole property, plus extra tips about the town and nearby restaurants. Every question I had was answered, after which I was left alone to enjoy the evening. The breakfast was outstanding – a full fry‑up, especially the mushrooms, alongside the usual cereals, juice, toast, and coffee/tea. Thanks for a superb stay; I’ll definitely return if I’m working in the area again.

“Our two nights stay was most enjoyable and a welcome break on our way to South Wales.”

Being close to the town centre, the on‑street parking worked fine. We enjoyed hearty breakfasts that kept us energized for the day. It was nice to meet some of the other guests at breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable, and in a quiet spot. We have no complaints about the accommodation; it was the perfect base for exploring Shepton Mallet and visiting relatives in a nearby town.

“Very welcoming will definitely advise others to use”

Breakfast was amazing, and the room was amazing. We’ve paid much more for worse places, including some hotels! The only potential issue is parking, but we managed to park outside, so it wasn’t a problem.
