I accepted to take the room at 7 am after arriving by bus at 5 h 30 from Manila.
The hotel was very well located, they picked us up at the terminal and offered various tours right away; the room was clean, spacious, and had a nice view, and the staff were not very talkative but very friendly; note that the hotel closes at 21 h and you can’t enter or leave after that.

The location is unbeatable, close to the tourist centre and museums, and the price‑to‑value ratio is solid. The only downside is a few bugs, but given the cost and spot, that’s acceptable.
Being very close to the center was great, which also meant I could leave my luggage there all day before catching the night bus to Manila, and I appreciated the bucket shower after trekking through Batad; the downside was that it was very loud because tricycles waited in front of the entrance.
The location in Banaue near restaurants and shops was good; we got our room at 7 am after the night bus, and the front‑desk lady met our needs; however, there were ants in the room, it was very humid, there was no hot water, and the guest house closed at 21 h.
