“Schöne Anlage mit Schwächen im Herbst”
The resort is stunningly designed, the rooms are spacious, and the staff are friendly. However, the long walk in the rain is a hassle, especially since no umbrellas are provided. Our north‑facing terrace received no sun in October and was unusable during rain. The yoga program, which was a deciding factor for us, was discontinued mid‑October after only two days, and we weren’t warned beforehand. At breakfast the staff were overworked, causing long waits for coffee, and the menu stayed almost unchanged over the ten days. On the bright side, the bread selection was excellent, and the range of cereals, seeds, grains, and nuts was superb. We would have liked more variety in cheese, cold cuts, and fruit. The spa policy felt somewhat opaque: the small pool is free, but the hammam and sauna cost extra, and clearer communication would have helped. In summary, the place looks great with friendly staff, but breakfast service, spa cost transparency, and the reliability of the leisure offerings need improvement. We expected more for our stay. The yoga offering was cut in mid‑autumn, the bar prices were sky‑high (beer 9€), there was too little staff at breakfast, vegan options were limited, no hummus, no avocados, no vegetarian spreads, and the buffet was the same every day.
