The location by the lake is fantastic, with a balcony overlooking the water and very friendly hosts; the kitchen is excellent and service is good. The area is car‑free, but residents still ride loud mopeds, which you hear on the promenade. The hotel is an old villa without an elevator to the second floor, yet the owner kindly carries luggage up for guests.

“A Little Piece of Paradise on Monte Isola!”

We spent a single night at La Foresta on Monte Isola, and it became one of the highlights of our Italian trip. The spot is truly enchanting, offering breathtaking views of Lake Iseo and the surrounding mountains. Waking up on this serene island felt special, and our room had an amazing view that we only fully appreciated after dinner when we discovered another window facing the lake—an unexpected delight. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner and breakfast, and the beautiful scenery made the whole experience even more memorable. The only downside was the short stay; we wish we had booked more time. Monte Isola captured our hearts, and La Foresta will always be part of those cherished memories. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

“Monte Isola un paradiso lacustre Nel complesso giornata piacevole”

The lake view and quality breakfast were great, and the restaurant offered excellent food and ingredients. The staff were friendly, but the rooms were very barebones with windows that need fixing.

“What a wonderful experience staying on an island! Hospitality and food was wonderful!”

We stayed in the top floor unit and the view was the highlight of the property—beautiful lake scenery. Breakfast was great, and on the one night we dined, the chef prepared an amazing fish entrée. Niccoli, the manager and breakfast host, was very welcoming. As we checked out, an older gentleman who works on the grounds had just picked fresh fruit and handed it to us, which was a very sweet gesture. The room itself was simple, though the bathroom looked updated. Newer beds, lamps, and decor would improve it. We stayed mainly to enjoy the view and spent most of our time on the balcony.
