RATTEHI INN left a lasting impression on me, with a calm and welcoming vibe from day one; Niya’s kindness, attentiveness, and care made me feel at home, and the locals were genuinely friendly and kind; Rakeedhoo offered a perfect escape to unwind, enjoy nature, the ocean, and island serenity, and I departed with cherished memories and a sense of joy.

Being able to stay in such a paradise for that price is amazing; everything is spot on—beautiful sea‑view rooms, comfortable beds and bedding, a warm welcome with a cold towel, and dining on the pier or beach where you can see rays and sharks; the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay, excursions are fun and very affordable, and the house reef with the Blue Hole is fantastic for snorkeling—no boat needed; I can’t fathom what a pricier resort island could offer that this place doesn’t; it’s a local island with only a few residents, which is lovely because there are just a few rooms and no crowds, making it wonderfully quiet and private; I highly recommend this hotel, truly a gem! The only suggestion is a beach shower, but they’re already working on it; the island does have a fair amount of mosquitoes, but they provide spray in the room, which was helpful; otherwise, nothing could be better with such a beautiful garden.

We especially valued the island’s tranquility, crystal‑clear sea, marine excursions, and the authentic, welcoming atmosphere of the property; the food was excellent, the room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the entire staff’s friendliness made the stay truly special and unique; despite the low season, we enjoyed splendid days and a wonderful sea; a special thanks to Nyan, who runs Rattehi Inn with great passion and made us feel instantly at home; thanks also to the whole team: Irash, who assisted us carefully during booking; Jembo (Nyan’s uncle) for his friendliness; the Captain for dolphin and fishing sea trips; and waiter Nithin, always kind and smiling; Rattehi Inn at Rakeedhoo embodies the value of friendship in its name, and that spirit was evident in the warm welcome we received, as if we were friends; Gloria & Davide 11–18 July 2026. The only minor note is the breakfast: it was limited to a continental dish and a Maldivian option; a few more choices would have been nice, but everything was still very good and well presented.

Everything was great—prime location, semi‑private beach, superb rooms, attentive and professional staff, and the fresh fish we caught and had served in the restaurant.
