Nanten‑En Ryokan in Kawachinagano blends traditional luxury with nature, featuring a sprawling Japanese garden, natural hot‑spring baths, and seasonal outdoor pool. Air‑conditioned rooms offer tatami floors, futon beds, and optional private toilets. Guests enjoy yukata robes, shoji screens, and woven‑straw floors, while multi‑course seasonal meals serve breakfast and dinner. The ryokan lies a two‑minute walk from Amami Station, 40 minutes from Osaka’s Namba, and an hour to Mount Koya.

Fabulous location near station and set in beautiful countryside, also essy access to both Koyasan and Osaka. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service and presentation of kaiseki cuisine. Gary was particularly knowledgeable about thd locsl.srra dnd history and had helpful tips for travel to Koyasan and Osaka KIX airport. Dining room was exquisitely beautful. Female onsen needs some cleaning. Hairdryer lacks power

The location is amazing. Only a quick trip from Kyoto and Osaka but in the heart of nature, letting you really feel the atmosphere and relaxation of the countryside. The hospitality is top notch. The dinner was very typical and lets you blend right into japanese culture. The hot springs were amazing! The outside garden is also very beautiful

Ikke noget. At de ikke skriver på hjemmesiden at du ikke må bade i onsen med din partner af modsat køn. Mig og min partner kom kun fordi vi ville slappe af efter stress og jag i byen, hvilket er svært når man ikke må bade i samme rum.dette er umuligt at vide som turist dsv. Derudover var den tildelte mad uspiselig for turister, samme om morgenmaden. Tilkøb Wagyu ellers bliver I sultet. Sengen er forfærdelig at lægge på og uden at kunne bade med din partner er der ingen aktiviteter at lave sammen. Air condition virkede ikke halvdelen af tiden. Vi glædet os meget til at forlade stedet
